The Ayrshire Junior Order of Merit Trophy was inaugurated in 2003, and includes local open competitions, county and regional events as well as national competitions.
Points are awarded to players for placings in the various counting events throughout the season. There is no limit on the number of counting events that players can take part in.
For details of the competition rules, see the Ayrshire Golf Association Rules of Competitions published elsewhere on this website.
